FYE Motorsports owner Chris Stepan is a nationally known dirt track auto racing announcer and focuses his efforts at one of the Midwest's finest dirt tracks. Stepan can be found at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin Saturday nights from mid-April through late September during the '08 racing season. Chris will also serve as the voice of the Superior Speedway in Superior, WI and the Madison Speedway in Madison, MN throughout 2008 as well.


Stepan travels from his St. Cloud, Minnesota home to sunny Arizona each January, February and November to call the action at the Central Arizona Raceway in Casa Grande, AZ for the annual Wild West Shootout Late Model & Modified Series, held during the second week of January in Arizona, the annual $8,000 to win West Coast Modified Championships in February and the annual $8,000 to win Wes Hurst Memorial Modified event, which is held Thanksgiving weekend in the desert as well.

Chris also began traveling to the Lone Star state each March to call that action at the $5,000 to win Sun City Modified Classic at the El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas, a sister speedway to the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces.

Stepan also travels to Las Cruces, New Mexico in the desert Southwest each March and November to call the action at the annual $10,000 to win Winter Meltdown and Fall Nationals Modified events at the Speedway of Southern New Mexico, the Southewest's premier 1/3 mile clay oval.

For the past 4 years, Stepan has called the action at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada each March and November for their annual Las Vegas Dirt Classic and Duel In The Desert USAC Sprint Car, Modified and Late Model events. The Las Vegas Dirt Classic is part of Sprint Cup weekend in Sin City each spring. 

Since 2007, Chris has served as the official announcer of the Modified WinterNationals at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida each February, an $8,000 to win event held the week leading up to the Daytona 500 each year.

In late 2007 Stepan was also hired as the new speedway announcer at the state-of-the-art Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, Kentucky. Stepan will travel to Sherri Heckenast's speed plant and announce the special events throughout the 2008 season and beyond.

Since the inception in 2003, Stepan has served as the event announcer for his FYE promoted events (the Minnesota Modified Natioanls and the Viking Fall Classic) at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, Minnesota and can be found behind the mic at those events still today.

Stepan serves as the voice of the annual $9,200 to win John Seitz Memorial Late Model Invitational, held at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota each September in memory of longtime racer and friend John Seitz, who passed away suddenly in February of 2007.
